ATLANTA — The Airport West Community Improvement District is now operational.
It’s directed by leaders who are ready to deliver substantial area enhancements, officials said.
The CID recently completed one of its first official acts – election of organizational leadership and officers. The district’s member property owners selected the following people to the inaugural Board of Directors:
Chair Natalie Martin of Duke Realty; Vice-Chair Vance Burgess of Chick-fil-A; Treasurer, Kevin Parrish of Wells Fargo Bank; Secretary Shannon James of SunTrust Bank, and members, Mark Spanka of Marriott Atlanta Airport, Austin McDonald of McDonald Development Company, Joshua Warthman of The Parking Spot, Chris Brown of Duke Realty and Kali Beyah of Delta Airlines.
Nicole Hall of Nickel Works Consulting LLC will serve as CID administrator in an interim capacity. Hall said immediate improvements will include upgrades to landscaping, public safety and way-finding signage in the hotel district near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
