New Special Projects Manager
Nickel Works Consulting announces the hiring of Daniel Braswell.  Daniel is an Urban Planner who received his B.S. from the University of Georgia and his M.S. from the Georgia Institute of Technology.  Daniel will work on special projects primarily related to clients who are a part of our CID Navigation Program.  Some projects include: Beautification projects and Opportunity Zone applications. He is married to Holly and they are the parents of a new baby girl, Charlee Beth, who was born in late December.

“The Works” Internship
Three young ladies from Clayton State University became the first official interns for Nickel Works Consulting in the Fall of 2015.  The students, Essence Chenault, Simone Lewis, and Tracey Turman were selected to work with the Nickel Works team to learn about Project Management, Marketing, Economic Development and Community Improvement Districts (CIDs).  They were instrumental in our organization and two of the students have continued working through the Spring semester.  All of the interns stated they have been able to get practical experience and apply the class theory that they have learned.  It is a great partnership with the local university in our community.  We look forward to more ways to partner with them and we plan to continue getting more interns for future semesters.
