As a new business in the City of College Park in Clayton County, GA, Nickel Works is working closely with businesses, communities and governments to spur economic development in and around the airport area.  Nickel Works recently facilitated a Property Owner / Stakeholder meeting at the Georgia International Convention Center (GICC) where the new Atlanta Aerotropolis CIDs were introduced.  Joe Folz of Porsche North America was the special guest as a local property owner and as a member of the Atlanta Aerotropolis Alliance. Details of the Alliance’s achievements and current projects and initiatives of both CIDs were highlighted such as public safety, beautification and transportation improvements. Property owners were encouraged to invest in their communities and join their CIDs to be a part of making a difference in their communities. Approximately 125 people attending and the meeting was a great success.  Nickel Works has been working in the Southern Crescent since 2002. The company is a member of the Airport Area and Clayton County Chambers of Commerce.  Nickel Works is also an inaugural member of the Atlanta Aerotropolis Alliance.
