Accountant

With more than 35 years of accounting and financial leadership experience, Marilyn Milton serves as the Accountant for Nickel Works Consulting, where she oversees the company’s financial operations with accuracy, consistency, and strategic insight. Since 2014, Marilyn has managed all aspects of the accounting process, including QuickBooks management, accounts payable and receivable, client invoicing, payroll administration through Gusto, financial statement preparation, and support with small business certifications, grants, loans, and PPP applications. Her diligence and expertise have contributed to multiple successful awards and approvals for the firm.

Before joining Nickel Works Consulting, Marilyn built a distinguished 36-year career with Energy Transfer and its predecessor companies. Beginning as a Junior Accountant, she advanced through multiple departments and leadership roles, ultimately retiring as Director of Consolidations. In that role, she oversaw a team responsible for income statements and balance sheets across multiple entities and the consolidated corporate structure. Her breadth of experience gives her a deep understanding of financial systems, organizational operations, and the importance of accuracy in every detail.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Marilyn has dedicated more than 20 years to volunteer leadership with the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council, helping guide numerous girls to achieve their Gold Award. She has also supported community organizations through recruitment, roster management, and ministry-based youth programming. Her commitment to mentorship, service, and community reflects the values she brings to every aspect of her work.

Marilyn’s combination of technical skill, integrity, and steady leadership makes her an invaluable member of the Nickel Works Consulting team.
