Nina Flemming

Operations Manager

As Operations Manager at Nickel Works Consulting, Nina Fleming brings a unique blend of strategic thinking, community insight, and analytical strength to her role as Project Manager for Stakeholder and Community Outreach. She specializes in designing engagement architectures that reach historically underserved communities and ensuring their perspectives are meaningfully incorporated into planning, policy, and mobility initiatives.

Nina’s work is rooted in accessibility—both in who engagement reaches and in how complex concepts are communicated. She has developed innovative outreach methodologies that make transportation, mobility, and carbon-reduction strategies understandable and actionable for diverse audiences. Her expertise ensures that community input not only informs projects but directly shapes prioritized strategies, recommendations, and deliverables.

Her portfolio includes major regional initiatives such as the Atlanta Regional Commission’s MPO Community Engagement Assistance project, where she helped craft equity-centered engagement approaches tailored to organizations serving key underserved populations. She has also contributed significantly to transit-focused and LCI projects, including the Stone Mountain Livable Centers Initiative and MARTA’s Clayton County Transit Initiative. In these roles, she designed and executed outreach strategies, developed and distributed surveys, facilitated public workshops, and transformed community feedback into data-driven insights.

Nina’s experience also extends to her work with multiple Community Improvement Districts (CIDs), including the West End CID and Assembly CID. She led board meeting planning, managed stakeholder communications, coordinated with local government partners, and conducted public safety outreach to ensure decisions were grounded in community priorities. Her role often includes synthesizing research and engagement findings into recommendations that guide CID decision-making.

Across every project, Nina is known for her clarity, empathy, and ability to translate public engagement into actionable policy direction. Her work reflects a commitment to authenticity, inclusivity, and meaningful outcomes—making her an essential part of the Nickel Works Consulting team.
